Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we use it and how to request help with your personal data.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

General policy information, not legal advice. These template policies should be reviewed by a qualified professional. Applicable consumer and data-protection rights remain unaffected.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to goxen.io and its learning portal. For privacy questions or requests, contact admin@algonit.com. Our public business address is Flat 2, DABC Euphorbia phase 1, Polacheri, Chennai.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: your name, email address, password hash and organization membership. We do not store your password in readable form.
  • Course activity: enrollments, lesson completions, assignments and submitted links, assessment answers and scores, live-session attendance, certificates and instructor feedback.
  • Communications: support requests, course discussions, reviews, notification read status and AI tutor conversations when you use those features.
  • Payment records: order identifiers, payment references, payment status, amount and currency. Razorpay handles payment details; this application does not store full card numbers, CVV or UPI PINs.
  • Technical information: request and error logs, timestamps and information needed to maintain security and diagnose service problems.

3. How we use information

We use this information to create and authenticate accounts, deliver purchased learning content, verify payments, assess coursework, show progress, provide support, prevent fraud and satisfy applicable record-keeping obligations. We do not sell personal information.

4. Who can see learning information

Authorized instructors and administrators can access information needed to manage learning and support. Posts and replies you place in course discussions are visible to other learners with access to that course. The LMS leaderboard shows lesson-completion counts using pseudonymous peer labels, not peer email addresses or contact details. Your own account sees your own progress and submissions.

5. Service providers

  • Razorpay: processes checkout, payment verification and refunds and receives the transaction and checkout information needed for payment. See Razorpay's Privacy Policy.
  • Replit: hosts the application and its database and processes stored account, learning and technical records needed to run the website. See Replit's Privacy Policy.
  • Video/live-session providers: a course may use an external video host or meeting service. Opening or playing that content may share technical information with the provider under its own privacy policy.
  • AI assistance: if an external AI provider is enabled, your tutor question and relevant course passages may be sent to that provider to generate an answer. Do not include sensitive personal information in tutor questions. AI conversations may be retained to show your chat history.

We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect security or rights, or to authorized service providers for the purposes above.

6. Browser storage

The application uses browser local storage for login tokens, your selected organization and account-specific LMS display preferences. These are functional settings, not advertising profiles. Logout clears login tokens; you can clear other browser storage through your browser settings. Shared-device users should log out after use.

7. Retention and security

We retain data for as long as needed to provide your account and learning access, address disputes and meet legal record-keeping requirements. Financial records may need to be retained after account closure. We use reasonable safeguards and access checks, but no system is completely secure. Never share passwords or OTPs with anyone claiming to provide support.

8. Your requests

Email admin@algonit.com to request access to your records, correction of inaccurate information, an export, account closure or deletion where legally available. We may need to verify account ownership. Some records must be retained for legal, payment, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes; we will explain relevant limitations. Requests concerning a payment provider's own records should also be directed to that provider.

9. Children and changes

Purchases by people under 18 require a parent or guardian's authorization. Contact us if you believe a child's information has been submitted without required consent. We update this page when practices change and publish the revised date. Applicable privacy and consumer rights are not limited by this policy.
